5 night journey through Interior Alaska

Friday through Wednesday, October 2008 - April 2009

Friday: Your winter adventure begins when you arrive in Anchorage. Visit the Anchorage Museum of History and Art or take a flightseeing trip over the Chugach Range. Stroll along the Cook Inlet on the Coastal Trail or try crosscountry skiing on the lighted, groomed trails. Overnight in Anchorage.

Saturday: Travel to Fairbanks aboard the Aurora Winter Train. View the quiet splendor of Alaska's winter landscape and watch for the northern lights. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Sunday - Monday: Depart on the Arctic Circle Aurora Adventure with Northern Alaska Tour Company. Cross the Yukon River and head deep into the arctic. Spend two nights in the Brooks Mountain Range. Experience phenomenal northern lights viewing.

Tuesday: You'll return to Fairbanks via deluxe van tour. See the vast arctic tundra landscapes first hand. Cross the mighty Yukon River as you continue south on the Dalton Highway which parallels the Trans-Alaska Pipeline in many spots. Arrive Fairbanks and overnight.

Wednesday: Return to Anchorage via Alaska Airlines.

Tour price: $TBD per person based on double occupancy.

Inclusions: One night hotel accommodations in Anchorage, two nights' stay in Fairbanks, two nights in Coldfoot, van transfers, flightseeing, and return flight from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Meals and optional tours are not included. Price subject to change based on airfare availability.
