Surplus Used Tie Sale Events- DISCONTINUED

The Alaska Railroad has discontinued surplus tie sale events.  There are some secondary sources selling ties within the state that include businesses and private sellers.  

Two companies that have informed us they continue to sell ties- Central Recycling Services (CRS) www.centralrecyclingservices.com and Northland Wood – www.northlandwood.com.   

The Alaska Railroad will consider donation of used ties to charitable non-profit organizations (501-c-3 or 501-c-6) that meet our Charitable Contribution policy. Contact Meghan Clemens in the Alaska Railroad Corporate Affairs office at 907-265-2357 or email clemensm@akrr.com.
