Our Trains

The Riley Fire at Denali National Park continues to be an active event, preventing passenger service on the Alaska Railroad through Denali. As such, we have made the following schedule changes for Tuesday, July 2. The northbound Denali Star Train will depart as scheduled at 8:20 AM from the Anchorage depot to Talkeetna. Upon arrival in Talkeetna, guests will transfer to a motorcoach for the remainder of their trip to Denali, and Fairbanks.

There will be no southbound train service on Tuesday, July 2, from Fairbanks to Anchorage. However, motorcoach transportation will be provided. Please plan your train trip accordingly. Your safety is our utmost concern and making these temporary changes is unavoidable. Please check back for daily updates.
