ITINERARY

Day 1

Departing early from Anchorage, enjoy the rail journey south through roadless backcountry. Arrive to the port town of Seward and board a day cruise bound for Kenai Fjords National Park. Watch for massive glaciers, humpback and orca whales, sea lions, otters and more. Overnight in Seward.

Day 2

Today, enjoy the Real Alaska Tour: visit the Seavey family’s sled dog kennel and learn about what it takes to win the Iditarod. You'll even get to enjoy a sled dog ride of your own! Stop for a delicious lunch at an Alaskan Roadhouse before visiting Exit Glacier and touring the city of Seward. That evening, board the Coastal Classic Train for the return journey to Anchorage.
